Jethou Postcards.

Landing on Jethou was a precarious business. The card was published by F Tozer of Guernsey, who was born in London, but in the 1891 census was a bookkeeper at 17 the Pollet, Guernsey, and by 1905 was trading at 12 Smith Street, as a book binder, stationer and newsagent. The real photographic card of the Mansion on Herm was probably published by him also, although there is no publishers name on it.

The aerial view of Jethou and the sepia postcard of the island which shows the Manor House, were both published by the Guernsey Press Co.

Thomas Bramley of Guernsey photographed Jethou as well as all the other Bailiwick of Guernsey Islands.
