Meeting Review AGM 2009.
Held, as usual at the Royal, London, on June 27th. The morning part of the meeting saw a host of members displays, below is a list, and some photographs are in the following slideshows

After lunch, members were treated to a superb PowerPoint presentation from Dr Gill Carr of Cambridge University. The subject was the Social History of the Guernsey Internees. Scarce photographs, sketches and paintings of life in the Internment Camps was shown.
These slide shows contain pictures of some of the various items made by the detainees whilst in German prisoner of war camps.


After Dr Carr’s presentation, the AGM was held, with reports from the Officers and Members of the Committee. The election of Officers and Members of the Committee was then held with the most notable change being that of Chairman. Dave Edwards was elected as Chairman, Richard Flemming was elected as Book Sales after the resignation of Brian Cropp who has held the post for many years. Gavin Wood was elected as the second Members Representative to replace Dave Edwards.
