Initially registered covers from Sark had the standard SARK registration label. However, stocks of these were exhausted in May 1944. Then ‘HERM’ registration labels were used, where the word ‘HERM’ was deleted in manuscript and ‘Sark’ was inserted.  As on this cover from October 1944.
