The Islands.

The Channel Islands are made up of large number of  islands ranging from the larger ones such as Jersey and Guernsey through the smaller ones, including Lihou and Brecqhou, to the smaller groups of islets and reefs like Les Ecrehous, Les Minquires.

Most people, when thinking of the Channel Islands, only consider the British Islands, but there are probably as many if not more of the French Channel Islands.

While this site has concentrated mainly on the British Islands to begin with, the French Islands which have had stamp issues, official or not, have been included.

Other islands which have cachets, postcards, and/or both Occupation and Postal History to be studied and collected, will not be excluded, and as the experts in these subjects offer their services, they will be added to the site.
